Quoted on enquiry

These depend on your order, your market or the certificate that covers your run, so we quote them rather than publish one figure that would be wrong for most buyers. Ask and you get the number for your specification.

  • UN certification code
  • Minimum order quantity

Before you order: Internal lacquer is specified against the contents. Gold, clear and bare tinplate are not interchangeable, and the wrong choice usually shows up as contamination or corrosion after the product has shipped.

Why It Is Built This Way

What makes this product different

01

One body style across the range

A 250 ml sample tin and a 5 litre trade tin in the same proportion and the same print treatment. A product family that steps up in size without looking like three different suppliers.

02

Lacquer specified against contents

Gold lacquer for acidic and aggressive contents, clear where the tinplate finish is part of the look, bare where neither applies. Getting this wrong fails months into shelf life, not on day one.

03

Lever lid reseals

A lever lid takes a screwdriver to open and a palm to reseal, which is the closure a decorator or a workshop actually wants on a part-used tin.

04

Prints better than plastic

Offset lithography onto flat sheet before forming gives a full-surface, photographic-quality image. There is no in-mould label edge and no shrink sleeve seam.

Manufacturing & Quality

How it is made, and how it is checked

Manufacturing

The body is pressed from cold-rolled steel to the pattern, seam-welded, then finished as set out in the specification above: internal coating, galvanising or powder coat according to what the can carries. Pressing runs across our Vietnam and China plants under one specification managed from Singapore, so the drawing and closure stay identical whichever plant fills the order.

Quality control

Every can is checked before it leaves the plant:

  • Leakproofness test — seams and closure checked under air pressure
  • Drop test — a filled can dropped to confirm it survives handling
  • Dimensional inspection against the drawing
  • Interior and finish inspection for coverage and defects
Compliance by market

What this product has to satisfy, market by market

The regimes that apply to this type of container in each market we ship to, with the detail behind each one a click away. This is what the market asks for; what this particular design already holds is in the specification above.

Orientation for specification, not legal advice, and not a statement that this design holds a given approval. Requirements turn on the exact design, contents and destination, and they change. Tell us the market at enquiry and we confirm what applies to your specification, what we hold and what we would need to obtain.
