Terms of use

The rules for using this website, our free tools, the API and the MCP server.

These terms apply when you use fortitude21.com, the free tools on it, the API at fortitude21.com/api/ or the MCP server at fortitude21.com/mcp. By using any of them you accept these terms. If you use them for a business, you accept them for that business.

Last updated: 13 October 2026.

1. Who we are

The website, the tools, the API and the MCP server are provided by JCDC Ventures Pte. Ltd., trading as Fortitude21, a company incorporated in Singapore, UEN 202119128E. Our details are on the legal notice.

We sell to businesses only. These terms do not cover purchases: each quotation sets the terms of the order it covers.

2. The tools give information, not advice

The tools apply the regulations they name, such as ADR 2025, the UN Model Regulations, US 49 CFR and national bund rules, to the inputs you give. The results are general information. They are not legal, safety or engineering advice, and they do not replace the regulation text, a dangerous goods safety adviser or the competent authority.

Before you rely on a result, check that it fits your goods, your packaging, your route and the law that applies to you. Regulations change, and each result reflects the edition it names. A result is only as good as its inputs: a wrong UN number, packing group, quantity or date gives a wrong answer.

The guides on this website are written the same way: general information, checked against the sources they cite, and no substitute for advice on your own case.

3. Using the API and the MCP server

  • Both are free and need no key. You may call them from your own software, website or AI agent, including in a commercial product.
  • When you show a result to other people, show its credit line (the cite field) or a link to the same answer on fortitude21.com, so they can check the working.
  • Do not present the results as your own work, as advice from Fortitude21, or as approved by us. Do not resell access to the API or the MCP server as a service of its own.
  • Keep to about 10 requests every 10 seconds from one IP address, and do not try to get around that limit or to overload the service.
  • We may change, limit or stop the tools, the API or the MCP server, or block a user, at any time and without notice. The service is free and comes with no service level.
  • If you build the API or the MCP server into a product, you answer to your own users for how your product presents the results. You will cover our reasonable costs if a claim against us comes from your product misrepresenting a result or from your breach of these terms.

4. Content and product information

The text, tools, data compilations, diagrams, photographs and logo on this website belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You may quote and link to them with credit to Fortitude21. The embeddable tools may be placed on other websites in the way the embed pages describe. Regulation text belongs to its publishers, and we quote it for reference.

Product pages describe each product as designed. The quotation, the specification sheet and the certificates supplied with an order set what we actually supply. Some images that show products in use are illustrations made with AI tools: they show how a product can be used, not the exact finish of the product you will receive.

5. No warranty

The website, the tools, the API and the MCP server are provided as they are and as available. As far as the law allows, we give no warranty that they are accurate, complete, up to date, uninterrupted or free of errors.

6. Limits on our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using or relying on the website, the tools, the API or the MCP server. This includes fines and penalties, rejected or delayed shipments, the cost of replacement packaging, lost profit, lost business, and any indirect or consequential loss.

If we are found liable despite this, our total liability for everything arising from the free tools, the API, the MCP server and the website is limited to 100 Singapore dollars.

Links to other websites, including regulators and standards bodies, are for your convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for them.

8. Privacy

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy notice.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, and we change the date at the top when we do. If you keep using the website, the tools, the API or the MCP server after a change, the updated terms apply.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore decide any dispute about them. If the English and Japanese versions differ, the English version applies.
