Drum & IBC Adapters

Product code F21-AD

The fitting between bulk and portable. Most decanting happens from a drum or an IBC into a can, and doing it without an adapter is how product ends up on the floor.

Quoted on enquiry

These depend on your order, your market or the certificate that covers your run, so we quote them rather than publish one figure that would be wrong for most buyers. Ask and you get the number for your specification.

  • Minimum order quantity

Before you order: Adapter material and thread must match both the bulk container and the contents. Confirm both before ordering.

Why It Is Built This Way

What makes this product different

01

Bulk to portable is the real workflow

Very little is filled at the can. It is drawn down from a drum or an IBC, and that transfer is where the spill and the contamination happen.

02

Sells the industrial line with it

A distributor stocking our HDPE cans is usually already handling drums. The adapter is what connects the two parts of their shelf.

03

Material to contents

Polymer where chemical resistance governs, stainless where durability and cleaning do.

04

Thread patterns vary

Drum and IBC threads are not universal. Tell us which fittings you are working to.

Compliance by market

What this product has to satisfy, market by market

The regimes that apply to this type of container in each market we ship to, with the detail behind each one a click away. This is what the market asks for; what this particular design already holds is in the specification above.

Orientation for specification, not legal advice, and not a statement that this design holds a given approval. Requirements turn on the exact design, contents and destination, and they change. Tell us the market at enquiry and we confirm what applies to your specification, what we hold and what we would need to obtain.

Questions, Answered

The things buyers ask before they order

What adapters do you supply?

Drum bung adapters, IBC outlet couplings and transfer nozzles, for drawing from bulk down into a can.

What threads do they fit?

Common drum and IBC thread patterns on the bulk side, sized to the cans in our range on the other. Thread patterns vary, so confirm both ends before ordering.

What are they made from?

Polymer and stainless options, chosen to suit the contents being transferred.

What job do they actually do?

They give the decanting step a proper fitting instead of a funnel, so bulk-to-portable transfer stays clean and controlled.

Will an adapter fit any drum or IBC?

Not by default. Thread and material both have to match the bulk container and the contents, so tell us the drum or IBC and the liquid.

Are these sold with cans or on their own?

They ship as standalone accessories and pair with our industrial jerrycan line for a complete decanting setup.

Which material should I pick?

It follows the contents. Send us the liquid and we will advise polymer or stainless for compatibility.

Can the fittings be customised?

Thread and fitting can be cut to specification where a non-standard bulk container is involved. Ask at quotation.

What are the minimum order and lead time?

Both are confirmed on quotation against your quantity and destination.

Where are they produced?

In our Vietnam and China factories, coordinated from Singapore.
