Quoted on enquiry

These depend on your order, your market or the certificate that covers your run, so we quote them rather than publish one figure that would be wrong for most buyers. Ask and you get the number for your specification.

  • Tap specification
  • Intended contents
  • Minimum order quantity

Before you order: Confirm intended contents at quotation. Tap material and seal compatibility depend on the liquid being dispensed.

Dimensions, material thickness, carton and container figures come from the current production specification. Empty weights are derived from the quoted net carton weight. Confirm against the drawing issued with your order.

Why It Is Built This Way

What makes this product different

01

Draw, do not lift

A full 20 litre can weighs more than most people should be lifting repeatedly. A tap removes the lift entirely.

02

Stainless for cleaning

Where the contents change or cross-contamination matters, stainless can actually be cleaned rather than just rinsed.

03

Stable when part-full

Upright geometry stays stable as the level drops, unlike a can designed primarily to be carried.

04

Workshop-durable

Specified for a bench that gets knocked, not a shelf that gets dusted.

In Detail

Construction, specification and use

The same breakdown our distributors put in front of their own buyers.

20L Stainless Dispensing Can with Tap — illustrated overview 1: construction, specification and applications
Manufacturing & Quality

How it is made, and how it is checked

Manufacturing

The body is pressed and welded in AISI 304 stainless steel, a food-contact grade chosen so the metal itself is the barrier and there is no lining to fail. Production runs across our Vietnam and China plants under one specification managed from Singapore.

Quality control

Every can is checked before it leaves the plant:

  • Leakproofness test — seams and closure checked under air pressure
  • Drop test — a filled can dropped to confirm it survives handling
  • Dimensional inspection against the drawing
  • Interior and finish inspection for coverage and defects
Compliance by market

What this product has to satisfy, market by market

The regimes that apply to this type of container in each market we ship to, with the detail behind each one a click away. This is what the market asks for; what this particular design already holds is in the specification above.

Orientation for specification, not legal advice, and not a statement that this design holds a given approval. Requirements turn on the exact design, contents and destination, and they change. Tell us the market at enquiry and we confirm what applies to your specification, what we hold and what we would need to obtain.

Questions, Answered

The things buyers ask before they order

What fluids is the 20L Stainless Dispensing Can with Tap built for?

It is an upright stainless can with an integrated tap for decanting oils, lubricants and workshop fluids at the bench. Stainless is also food-safe, and the range runs to food service and brewing, so tell us your fluid and we will confirm the build.

Can I dispense potable water or food-contact liquids from it?

Stainless steel suits potable water and food liquids as readily as oils. If you need a formal food-grade declaration, ask us to confirm the stainless grade for your destination market before you order.

How does the tap dispense, and is it made to stand on a bench?

The can sits upright on a bench and you draw fluid through the integrated tap rather than lifting and pouring it. That keeps it steady when it is only part full and saves handling 20 litres by hand.

What is the tap made of, and will it suit my liquid?

Tap material and seal compatibility depend on the liquid being dispensed, so we match them to your contents rather than fitting one tap for everything. Send us the fluid and we will confirm the tap material and seal on quotation.

What is the body made of and how thick is it?

The body is 0.8 mm stainless steel in an upright format. Bare stainless means no coating to chip and a surface you can wash down between different fluids.

What are the dimensions and empty weight?

The body measures 35.2 by 18 by 47.5 cm excluding the tap, and it weighs about 3.8 kg empty. Cans pack four to a carton at 15.2 kg net.

Can I dispense flammable liquids like solvents, and does the tap affect transport?

A fitted tap can change the dangerous-goods transport classification in some jurisdictions when the contents are flammable, so tell us the fluid and where it ships. For a flammable liquid a steel can certifies to UN by design and plant, so ask us for the certificate covering your specific setup.

Do the oils I dispense need UN certification?

Oils and lubricants that are not classified as dangerous goods do not need a UN-certified pack. Confirm the fluid with us and we will tell you plainly whether any documentation applies.

Can we put our own brand on it?

Yes, private label is available. We laser etch or emboss your mark and can powder-coat the can to a RAL colour of your choice.

What are the minimum order and lead time, and where is it made?

Minimum order quantity and lead time come with your quotation, so send your volumes and destination. The cans are made in our Vietnam and China factories and managed from our Singapore desk.
