These depend on your order, your market or the certificate that covers your run, so we quote them rather than publish one figure that would be wrong for most buyers. Ask and you get the number for your specification.
Dimensions, material thickness, carton and container figures come from the current production specification. Empty weights are derived from the quoted net carton weight. Confirm against the drawing issued with your order.
The cheapest way for a customer to buy into the material, which often leads to the larger sizes later.
Suits day hikes, cabins, offices and anywhere five litres is genuinely enough.
Small enough to bundle with a larger purchase or sell as a branded gift item.
No material downgrade at the small end. It is the same AISI 304 story throughout.

The body is pressed and welded in AISI 304 stainless steel, a food-contact grade chosen so the metal itself is the barrier and there is no lining to fail. Production runs across our Vietnam and China plants under one specification managed from Singapore.
Every can is checked before it leaves the plant:
Water is not a dangerous good, so no UN transport marking applies.
Potable water
Strong acids, and any liquid outside the stated range.

The regimes that apply to this type of container in each market we ship to, with the detail behind each one a click away. This is what the market asks for; what this particular design already holds is in the specification above.
Orientation for specification, not legal advice, and not a statement that this design holds a given approval. Requirements turn on the exact design, contents and destination, and they change. Yes. Like the larger sizes, the 5L is built in AISI 304 food-grade stainless steel, so it meets the same food-safe standard for drinking water.
That is its intended use. The 5L is specified for potable water, and stainless keeps water clean without imparting any taste.
It is formed from 0.7 mm AISI 304 stainless steel. Food-grade stainless needs no internal liner or coating, so the wetted surface is bare, cleanable metal.
No. The 5L is a water and food-grade can only. Fuel and chemical duties are covered by our dedicated steel, stainless and HDPE lines.
A wash in warm soapy water, a good rinse and air-drying with the cap off is enough. Stainless does not stain or hold odours, so the 5L refills and reuses cleanly time after time.
Yes. We can provide an AISI 304 mill certificate or a food-contact declaration on request, confirmed per order to match what your market or customer expects.
No. A potable-water can is not dangerous goods, so the 5L ships as ordinary freight without UN marking.
Yes. It laser etches or embosses well and can be powder coated to a RAL colour, which makes the 5L a natural fit for corporate gifting and branded retail packs.
Both are quoted to your order. Share your quantity, finish and branding and we will confirm the minimum, the lead time and the price.
It suits day use, desk and travel volumes, sampling programmes and gift bundles, where a full 20L is more than needed. It is also the lowest-cost way into the stainless range, packed eight to a carton.
