The can is blow-moulded from high-density polyethylene in a single seamless wall, with the neck and handle formed in the same shot, so there is no seam to split under load. Moulding runs across our Vietnam and China plants under one specification managed from Singapore.

No. This can is specified for DEF urea solution, not for petrol, diesel or solvents, so putting fuel in it falls outside what it is made for. If you need a fuel or chemical can, ask us for the fluorinated or standard industrial line.
It is scoped for DEF, not for acids or aggressive chemicals, so we would not recommend it for those. Send us the exact liquid you have in mind and we point you to the right can and a compatibility check.
The data specifies it for DEF, not for food or beverage contact, so we do not call it food-grade. If you need a food-contact can, look at our Food-Grade HDPE line instead.
DEF is a water-based urea solution and does not permeate HDPE the way fuels and solvents can. The larger risk with DEF is contamination, which is why the wetted path and closure matter.
DEF is not flammable, so the static concern that applies to fuels and solvents does not apply here. If you were handling a flammable liquid you would need the conductive antistatic line, not this can.
DEF to ISO 22241 is generally not classified as a dangerous good for transport, so a UN packing group is usually not the question for it. Tell us your contents and destination and we confirm what, if anything, applies before you order.
DEF is easily spoiled by contamination, so reuse depends on a clean fill and handling process, and HDPE also carries a service life from its date of manufacture. Confirm your process against BS ISO 22241 with us before you rely on refilling.
